HENNIE’S ADVENTURES specializes in designing tours to suit the interests, time constraints and budget of our guests. Whether you are a honeymoon couple, a group of friends travelling together or on a family vacation – each tour is planned with care to suit your needs. Personal interests such as horse riding, bird watching, sport etc. are all taken into account. While it sounds easy enough to do, to put together a successful tailor-made itinerary is only possible if the operator has extensive knowledge of the area in which the tour is planned. Hennie’s years of experience as a guide on both camping and accommodated tours throughout Southern Africa qualify him to design such a program.

1. Guided Private Tailor-made Tours

We design the perfect all-inclusive itinerary in consultation with our valued guests and proceed with all the logistical and financial arrangements. Our guests arrive and are met by a professional guide with a luxury vehicle suited to the nature of the itinerary. He/she is fully trained and qualified for the areas in which we’ll be travelling and will make sure that your every wish is granted during your stay until you are safely on the way home.

2. Tailor-made Self-drive Itineraries

For those who prefer to do it themselves we offer an itinerary planning and reservation service. You still benefit from our extensive knowledge in having us design an itinerary according to your interests. We reserve a rental vehicle and your accommodation and upon arrival you get a comprehensive information folder including maps, routes, brochures, suggested places to see, things to do and restaurants to eat at. Excursions and certain recommended day trips can also be pre-booked. We also provide a list of important telephone numbers for any emergency along the way!

For the 1st-time visitor there is almost too much to do and see. Whether your interest is in the continually changing landscapes and scenery of South Africa or in the diverse cultures of the sub-continent, we can see the sights and meet the people. If you want to see the “Big 5”, go on a 4x4 trip and camp under a starry sky, let us take you there!

For the seasoned traveller we can arrange that special trip, tailored around your interests. We can:

• Take you birding - from the sub-tropical Okavango Delta, the Kalahari or to the dry Karoo with it’s large number of endemic species.
• Show you the wealth of South Africa’s National Parks, most of them off the beaten track and hardly ever visited by international guests. Just because it’s not “The Kruger” doesn’t mean it’s not worth visiting, especially if you are interested in everything nature has to offer!
• For the lover of good food and wine South Africa is heaven! With almost 500 wine estates to choose from, picking the right ones to suit the tastes of our guests is a challenge our guides like! Then there is the food – gourmands from around the world come here to enjoy wholesome South African cooking, fantastic fusion food and even top-end haute cuisine.
